To kill time, I've decided to take up some form of sport.
My initial thought was tennis. See, I've always wanted to learn, I just didn't have the time. Then I realised that tennis requires a lot of running around. It's not that I'm lazy. It's just madness to chase after tiny little balls in this blistering heat. I'd probably melt and evaporate.
So I started thinking up sports that are less demanding.
I thought of ice skating. But I realised I already know how to ice skate. There isn't a point taking it up professionally because I'd have to learn ballet first and I honestly think my body's too old to twist and turn like a pretzel. I'd be torturing myself.
Then I had the most wonderful thought. How about rifle training? See, it doesn't requ


Just in case you're blind or can't really comprehend what's written or simply too lazy to read, the annual fee for yearly membership is $500, there's also a one day membership which amounts to about $70. Who knew shooting stuff took a chunk out of your pocket? I think I'll actually go just to try it out. It'll probably be quite fun, of course my arm will definitely ache from the weight of the gun.
So now it's decided! I'll try shooting stuff for one day and if I don't like it, I could always just go back to my original plan of taking up tennis!!! Now all I have to do is call up the Singapore Gun Club, register with them, book in advance and find out how the bloody hell I'm going to get to Choa Chu Kang on my own. Gosh, I think it'd be so much easier to stay at home and rot.
